Summary:mechanical engineering; exhaust systems of diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed converter has cone-shaped ejector, diffuser, electromagnetic trap, bypass pipe and plates. Ejector is arranged on intake branch pipe secured by thread on housing. Electromagnetic trap is made in form of truncated cone installed in housing between intake branch pipe and catalyst. Bypass pipe is rigidly secured in inner part of electromagnetic trap. Plates and diffuser made in form of cone are rigidly secured on outer cone of electromagnetic trap from side of intake branch pipe. EFFECT: reduced content of toxic substances in exhaust gases, improved efficiency of gas cleaning, increased service life of catalyst owing to electromagnetic entrapping of particles. 2 dwg
