Summary:cold working of metals and alloys by surface plastic deforming, possibly restoration of dimension accuracy of worn parts at simultaneous strengthening of their surface layer. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes separator, casing, guiding sleeves with deforming members and bumper. Novelty is deforming members in the form of strikers with cone working surface and rounded apex mounted in guiding sleeves through bumpers. Such apparatus provides larger height of irregularities, regular microrelief and high strengthening degree. Joining of deforming members with guiding sleeves allows to increase mass of movable parts of tool that provides increased effort; bumpers suppress natural oscillations of deforming members that may act worse upon quality of formed relief. EFFECT: improved design providing redistribution of material in surface layer, enlarged range of restored dimensions, increased height of formed relief.1 dwg
