Summary:manufacture of large composite seamless matrix screens. SUBSTANCE: method provides for building optical conducting device around matrix system of tightly packed single layers for tightly packed optical conductors. For producing single layer use is made of two specially developed molds which are, essentially, straps with identical light conductors made in the from of suitably oriented rectangular-section teeth. Molds supplement each other. Their lap jointing enables production of single layer of tightly packed and adequately oriented light conductors dispensing with part-by-part assembly and eliminating light leakage loss that may be caused by non-rectangular section of light conductors. EFFECT: facilitated correction of image within composite display screen; reduced manufacturing cost. 10 cl, 4 dwg
