SUBSTANCE: plasmid containing cDNA 24S RNA of viral genome fragment is obtained from natural isolate of rubella virus and its primary structure is studied. This plasmid can be used for development of DNA vaccine or for preparing virus-specific structural antigens that can be used for design of recombinant vaccine and diagnostic preparations on their base. Noninfectious recombinant vaccines can be useful for immunization of persons with enhanced risk including pregnant or elderly women, humans with autoimmune diseases and neurological symptoms.
