SUBSTANCE: one of intake valves of exhaust gas converter distributor is made in form of shutoff valve adjusted to pressure exceeding the pressure to which intake valves are adjusted. Exhaust gas distributor is coupled with power cylinder by means of rack-and-pinion transmission and overrunning clutch. Power cylinder, furnished with return spring, communicates through branch pipe with space of catalytic converter arranged before exhaust gas distributor. Additional intake valve installed in branch pipe is adjusted to pressure exceeding the pressure to which shutoff valve is adjusted. EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas cleaning, reduced fuel consumption and increased service life of engine owing to automation of catalytic converter regeneration process and change of catalyst operation order. 3 dwg |
