Summary: | ceramic industry, more particularly manufacture of porcelain products. SUBSTANCE: porcelain body comprises, wt %: kaolin, 39-41; white burning clay, 9.5-10; quartz sand, 12-16; permatite, 24-25; alumina, 0.1- 2; crushed porcelain products, 5.9-7; topaz ore, 1-7. Products are molded by slip casting method into gypsum molds or by plastic molding. Semiproduct is subjected to firing two times: bisque firing at 850-900 C and products are then optionally glazed. Products are finally fired at 1190-1250 C. Said composition allows one to reduce firing temperature, increase mechanical strength of products and make them whiter. EFFECT: improved properties of the ceramic body. 3 tbl |
