Summary:structural seismology, evaluation of intensity of vibrations with due account of properties of soils composing building site. SUBSTANCE: seismic vibrations are excited in soil by artificial vibration source, they are recorded by geophones placed on sections with different engineering and geological conditions. Parameters of examined and standard soils are determined, spectra of vibrations are constructed, increments of vibration magnitude are found and degree of seismic effect is evaluated by non-linear increments of vibration magnitude. Frequencies of vibrations of examined and standard soils determined from relations given below are used in the capacity of one of parameters of examined and standard soils: , where f(H/V)i is frequency of vibrations of examined soil, Hz; [S(ω)i]H is spectrum of seismic vibrations of examined soil oriented horizontally, m/m/s3; [S(ω)i]V is spectrum of seismic vibrations of examined soil oriented vertically, m/m/s3; f(H/V)0 is frequency of vibrations of standard soil, Hz; [S(ω)o]H is spectrum of seismic vibrations of standard soil oriented horizontally, m/m/s3; [S(ω)o]V is spectrum of seismic vibrations of standard soil oriented vertically, m/m/s3. EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of method due to control over contribution of non-linear phenomena into resulting soil motion. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
