Summary: | analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for analyses of waters and biological fluids and provides device for reduction of nitrates into nitrites in solutions. Device consists of two or more cadmium plates crossing in mutually perpendicular planes. Plates are perforated and combined, in their lower parts, with magnetic member for stirring solution and, in their upper parts, with holder. 1 to 2 ml of liquid test sample (water, plasma, urine, etc.) is placed in appropriate vessel, after which reduction element is descended and sample is stirred for 5 min by magnet stirrer with rotation speed 2000 rpm or for 10 min with manual stirring. Content of nitrites is determined by Griss method. EFFECT: simplified procedure and increased accuracy and reliability of determination. 3 dwg, 3 tbl |
