Summary: | construction engineering; repair of industrial plants emitting or conveying stack gases in operation. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for reconstruction or rebuilding of old reinforced concrete and brick chimney stacks whose bearing capacity is reducing. Chimney stack has external chimney 1 and internal gas-outlet metal shaft built up of several sets 2 of cylindrical sections 3. Sections 3 are made for entering each other in telescopic manner and suspended relative to each other. In addition, each set 2 of sections 3 is suspended relative to external chimney 1. Space between adjacent edges of sections 3 of different sets 2 is filled with gas- tight packing. All adjacent sections 3 are rigidly fixed (say, bolted) together. Method for erecting chimney stack involves preparation of several sets 2 of sections 3 in advance. Sections 3 of each set 2 are inserted in each other in telescopic manner. Then assembled sets 2 are moved in turn through opening in low part of external chimney 1 to region where internal composite gas-outlet shaft is erected. During erection of each set 2 stage hoisting of top section 3 is lifted in steps through section height per step and each time lower end of lifted section is locked in position before lifting adjacent upper end of lower section. EFFECT: improved operating reliability, facilitated erection and dismantling, reduced building time. 5 cl, 5 dwg |
