Summary: | inorganic coatings on metal, more particularly zirconium and its alloys from oxidation. SUBSTANCE: coating comprises high-melting sublayer and covering layer. High-melting sublayer comprises one compound from group consisting of alpha-Al2O3,SiO2,3Al2O3.2SiO2,ZrSiO4, and covering layer comprises oxides, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: Al2O3, 3-7, CaO, 5-12; SrO, 5-11; MgO, 0.5-2.5; Na2O, 9-15; K2O, 5-10; Li2O, 0-2; TiO2, 0.5-2; at least one of group consisting of FeO, CoO, MnO, Cr2O3, 2-4; and SiO2, the balance. EFFECT: safe protection effect of coating at temperatures ranging from 850 to 1000 C, no scale on surfaces of parts from zirconium or alloys thereof, no chemical interaction of composition components with zirconium and complete self-removal of coating from parts as they are hardened in water. 2 cl |
