Summary:radio engineering, applicable in nonparametric frequency-spatial signal detectors. SUBSTANCE: the method comprises the following operations: signals are received by the radiometric method with diversity of the scanning directivity pattern in its width with simultaneous frequency-spatial processing in symmetrically expanded by the directivity pattern in the spatial sector of detection, reference samples are formed by tuning the input in time, frequency and direction, reference samples are reformed by taking of modules of their readouts and reduction of dispersions of reference samples in the adjacent frequency-spatial bands to the dispersion of the detection band, the reduction coefficient is determined as a square root of the relation between the sums of the squares of readouts of reference samples of the adjacent frequency - spatial band and detection band diversed in time, the tested sample is formed by using the modules of readouts being away by the time corresponding to displacement of the scanning directivity pattern by its width, ranking is carried out according to the reference samples, rank statistics is calculated, and a decision on detection is taken by comparison of it with the threshold. EFFECT: enhanced speed of response at frequency-spatial detection of signals. 2 dwg
