Summary:artillery ammunition. SUBSTANCE: projectile stabilizing device consists of blades hinge-joined with the axles to the body of the projectile tail section, and a device for deployment of blades with a working member in the form of a movable piston with an annular bulge on the outer surface, and a locking device. The blades have cutouts on the rear edges for the working member, and the stepped sleeve of the locking device is installed between the inert body and flexible ungripping collet. The front end surface of the piston annular bulge is inclined towards the blade turning axis. The cutouts on the rear edges of blades are made for engagement with the inclined surface of the piston annular bulge. The outer surface of the larger step of the locking device sleeve is made tapered with the larger diameter on the side of the outlet from the collet, and the slope of its generating line equals the angle of friction between the sleeve and collet. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of deployment of the stabilizing device blades within the working range of starting overloads and pressures of powder gases in the gun chamber. 4 dwg
