Summary: | FIELD: ceramic industry, more particularly, manufacture of porcelain products for domestic purposes. SUBSTANCE: ceramic body comprises 70-90 wt % of diopside and 10-30 wt % of glass, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: diopside, 70-90; and glass, 10-30; Al2O3, 2- 4; B2O3, 14-16; K2O, 1.4 Na2O, 6-8; Zn, 9-11; and the SiO2 balance. Products are molded by injection casting from thermoplastic slip followed by burning out bond in charge from finely ground alumina and final firing of semiproduct at 900-1070 C.
