Summary: | FIELD: metallurgy, namely out-of-furnace treatment of metal. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of introducing aluminium and powder calcium-silicon wire in ladle filled with metal at vacuumizing and achieving oxygen activity in range 0.0010-0.0015%. Aluminium wire is introduced at rate 2.0-4.0 m/s; consumption of aluminium wire is equal to 0.07-0.17 kg/ton of steel. Powder calcium-silicon wire is introduced at rate 3.5-4.0 m/s; its consumption is equal to 1.2-2.0 kg/ton of steel. Vacuumizing of metal is terminated at once after introducing necessary amount of wire. EFFECT: enhanced quality of vacuumized metal, its ameliorated structure. 2 tbl, 1 exp |
