Summary:FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: compound has following components: sodium metasilicate, hydroxyethylcellulose, product based on saponified still bottoms from production of synthetic fatty acids containing not more than 30% of dry residue and not less than 1.7 mg-eq/l of sodium soaps of synthetic fatty acids and not more than 1.0% of free alkali with respect to dry residue, and water. Application of aforesaid compound enhances its isolating characteristics in conditions of permeably non-uniform water- and oil-gas-saturated reservoirs at presence of brine water with different degree of mineralization.
