METHOD OF ISOLATION OF PLAGUE PATHOGEN FROM ECTOPARASITES, FOR EXAMPLE, FLEAS
FIELD: medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous administration of ectoparasites suspension in physiological solution to experimental animals (0.5-1.0 ml in back region) and suspension is mixed with rabbit heparinized blood at ratio = (1:0.5)-(1:0.7). Then 0.5-0.7 ml of chicken...

Summary: | FIELD: medicinal microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous administration of ectoparasites suspension in physiological solution to experimental animals (0.5-1.0 ml in back region) and suspension is mixed with rabbit heparinized blood at ratio = (1:0.5)-(1:0.7). Then 0.5-0.7 ml of chicken egg yolk, 5-7 mg of cortisone, 0.01-0.03 mg of potassium tellurate and 0.001-0.003 mg of gentian violet are added to the mixture. Bacteriological study of pathological material is carried out from the place of administration only being 0.02-0.03 mcg/ml of gentian violet is added to the solid nutrient medium. Invention can be used for bacteriological diagnosis of objects causing suspicion with respect to factors of plague infection transferring. EFFECT: improved method of isolation. 3 ex |
