Summary:FIELD: metal working, namely part working by surface plastic deforming, particularly finish rolling around limited spherical surfaces of parts such as ball pins of motor vehicle suspension. SUBSTANCE: method is realized with use of planetary rolling around apparatus whose deforming members are mounted with possibility of rolling on supporting sleeve. Axes of part stem and rolling around apparatus are inclined one relative to another and they are imparted to rotation around those axes. Deformation is performed by means of deforming members in the form of cone rollers with spherical end surface. Cone rollers are mounted in such a way that apexes of their cones and center of radiuses of spheres of their ends are laid in the same point on rotation axis of rolling around apparatus. At such working circumferential speed values of cone roller and supporting sleeve are the same in each point of their mutual contact. It limits slippage in zones of roller and sleeve contact. Predetermined functional relation is set between structural parameters of part, rollers, supporting sleeve and angles of their mounting relative to rotation axes of rolling around apparatus and part. EFFECT: increased strength of deforming members and supporting sleeve, enhanced quality and efficiency of working. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
