Summary: | FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention focuses on protecting steel equipment affected by corrosive media close to neutral ones. Complex inhibitor is added to working medium with following concentrations of its components in working medium, mg/cu.dm: sodium nitrite 100-200, polyhexamethyleneguanidine phosphate 10-15, and sodium tetraborate 15-20. At these concentrations, observed corrosion rate is less than 0.005 mm/year. Method has passed experimental-industrial testing on return system of station testing turbine counters with volume 54 cu.m.
