SUBSTANCE: carburetor-type internal combustion engine includes reciprocating piston 1 located in working chamber 2 of cylinder 3; piston has exhaust port 4 located in zone adjoining bottom dead center of piston 1; engine includes also fuel tank 5 having fuel space 6 and above- fuel space 7 separated by flexible diaphragm 9 which takes form and volume of fuel tank 5; fuel space 6 is brought in communication with mixture preparation device, for example, carburetor (not shown by means of pipe line 8; above-fuel space is provided with passage 11 for delivery of increased pressure; passage 11 is connected with working chamber 2 of cylinder 3 by means of its port 10 which is located in zone adjoining bottom dead center of piston 1; upper edge of intake port 10 is located in one transversal plane with upper edge of exhaust port 4 (to axis of working chamber 2). EFFECT: enhanced stability of operation of internal combustion engine with no effect of waste gases on chemical composition of fuel and above-fuel space of fuel tank. 1 dwge
