Summary:FIELD: petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: method includes heat polymerization of initial raw materials in one of sections of two-section apparatus to produce pitch. In this case, vapors of light products of heat polycondensation are supplied through a device to other section of apparatus for fractionation. In the course of fractionation distillate fraction is selected and vapors are withdrawn. Vapors are cooled and separated into gases and distillate fraction. It is advisable to mix produced pitch with initial raw material in capacity of recirculate. EFFECT: minimum number of process apparatuses, reduced losses of volatile substances and increased content of alpha-fraction in produced pitch to improve service characteristics. 2 cl, 1 tbll
