Summary:FIELD: electroplating of continuously moving strip steel, more specifically, methods of electrolytic tin-plating. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes deposition of the first layer of tin with simultaneous cleaning and pickling of strip. Then, the second tin layer is deposited with subsequent finishing of tin surface layer. The first tin layer is deposited with thickness h1 = 0.05-0.1 mcm in electrolyte with tin content Sn = 5.5-7.2 g/l and tin current efficiency of 25-50%, and value of cathode current density is determined in compliance with the following equation Dk = 1.19v + 12.6, where Dk is cathode current density and v is tin-plating rate. EFFECT: higher and stabilized corrosion resistance of tin-plate. 2 dwgo
