Summary: | FIELD: electric and heat energy generation; heating of water in heating and hot water supply systems; accumulation of electric energy for illumination; generation of power for operation of pumps. SUBSTANCE: solar energy converter has housing accommodating energy conversion elements and heat receiver with face wavy and rear guards contacting with energy conversion elements. Waviness of face guard is provided by use of structures forming acute angle spaces with vertices pointed towards rear side. Energy conversion members are made in form of thermocouples whose thermoelectric battery is in contact with outer side of rear element through hot junctions, and cold junctions are brought out of housing. Side surfaces of acute angle structures can be made absorbing. Cold junctions can be in contact with cooling agent. Acute angle structures can be made in form of pyramids or cones of not less than 68 degrees. According to second design version, in solar energy converter containing housing with wavy panel, solar energy conversion elements and heat receiver with rear wavy and face guards, the latter are in contact with energy conversion elements and wavy panel is made in form of honeycomb structure with common flat base of face guard. Energy conversion elements are made in form of thermocouples, hot junctions of thermoelectric batteries are secured on outer surface of base of corresponding honeycomb structure and cold junctions are brought out of housing. Honeycomb structure can be made in form of regular hexahedral prisms with side reflecting surfaces and absorbing base. Cold junctions can be in contact with cooling agent.
