Summary: | FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: in order to increase rubber quality and reduce power consumption when isolating rubber via water degassing technique, polymerizate, water, and steam consumption is stabilized and degassed crumb size is evaluated. To achieve desired process parameters, polymerizate is preliminarily emulsified with water in special mixer and size of degassed crumb is controlled by additionally adding circulation water into crumb former. Industrial tests revealed increase in uniformity of fractional composition of crumb. In addition, overheating of polymerizate is performed in single phase (liquid-liquid) which reduces resistance under transportation of polymerizate emulsion and thereby reduces vibration of equipment including pipelines connected to isolation assemblies. EFFECT: reduced power and steam consumption, and reduced amount of hydrocarbon emission. 2 cl, 1 tblr |
