Summary:FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes dividing the levels into sublevels, driving of sublevel drifts and raises. Raise in each strip is driven in the strip middle part, both, on the strike and across the strike. Blastholes are drilled and blasted over the raise. Blastholes are located in inclination - at obtuse angle to axis of raise to form after blasting dome-shaped ceiling in raise face. Extracted coal is unloaded between series of blasting operations up to formation of aerodynamic connection of face of mined strip with the nearest sublevel drift or connection, located below the line of broken mass in mined strip. Boundary walls of strip pillars are outlined from sublevel drifts as strip face advances over seam rise. Upper and lower parts of raise are connected with conveyor drift and airway by means of inclined crosscuts. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwga
