Summary: | FIELD: steelmaking. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smelting steel with reduced portion of cast iron in charge recompensed by using carbon-containing materials - carbonizers. As the latter and material containing oxidized alloying and deoxidizing elements, which are added to fine scrap loaded onto the bottom of furnace, scrap of bowls used for smelting refractory alloys is loaded in quantity 0.8-1.0% based on weight of charge. Bowl scrap contains (in wt %): carbon, 85.0-90.0; vanadium, 0.30-1.00; niobium, 0.30-0.50; molybdenum, 0.30-1.00; titanium, 0.50-1.50; sulfur, 0.01-0.03; and ashes, the balance. Further, slag-forming ingredients and remaining scrap are charged, and, once charge heated, cast iron. EFFECT: reduced cost due to utilizing metallurgical waste. 2 cl, 1 dwg , 1 tbll |
