Summary: | Pills contg. gastric ulcer pepsin inhibitors contain 0.20 pts. active primiple of Rapona Thomasieuses marine gastroped, 0.012 magnesium-oxide, 0.0048 pts. titamium-di:oxide and customary excipients. Heat of Rapona Thomasiensis is extracted with distilled water in a wt. to vol. ratio of 1:10 followed by a second extn. at a 1:5 ratio at 4 deg. C. The extract is filtered and dehydrated in vacuo at a max. of 70 deg.C. The dried prod. is comminuted to a homogeneous, amorphous powder, yellow to reddish-brown in colour, with characteristic odour and low water solubility. |
