Summary: | The invention relates to a process for making ferromagnetic shape memory biomaterials coated with biocompatible polymers, applicable in personalized implantology medical devices. According to the invention, the process consists of the following stages: activation of the metallic surface in cold plasma, at the atmospheric pressure, on both faces of the FePd-based ferromagnetic strips, both non-doped and doped with different metallic ions, such as manganese and gallium, pulverization thereon of a methanol solution in which polymers, such as poly (benzofurane-co-arylacetic acid) (PBAAA) and polyglutamic acid (PGA), have been dissolved, drying of the strips at the room temperature for 24 h and washing in a distillation water bath, to result in functionalized hemocompatible biomaterials.
