Summary: | The invention relates to a method of early identification of sepsis risk with applicability in the stratification of patients with monitored risk factors. According to the invention, the method consists in the use of a set of 3 proteins and the combined assessment of the plasma levels of TNFSF14, OSM and TRANCE molecules, involved in inflammation, which are supplemented by the status, the clinical signs and symptoms as well and other biochemical markers, so that a sepsis profile is one in which TNFSF14 and OSM have high values and TRANCE has low values.
Invenţia se referă la o metodă de identificare precoce a riscului de sepsis cu aplicabilitate în stratificarea pacienţilor cu factori de risc monitorizaţi. Metoda, conform invenţiei, constă în utilizarea unui set de 3 proteine şi evaluarea combinată a nivelurilor plasmatice ale moleculelor TNFSF14, OSM şi TRANCE implicate în inflamaţie, care sunt completate cu statusul, semnele şi simptomele clinice, precum şi cu alţi markeri biochimici, astfel că un profil de sepsis este cel în care TNFSF14 şi OSM au valori crescute, iar TRANCE are valori scăzute. |
