Summary:A rail transit vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a traction transformer. The traction transformer is fixed at a top portion of the vehicle body. A contour of an outer portion of the traction transformer is located inside a vehicle top contour line (1) protruding away from a bottom surface of the vehicle body. The traction transformer is disposed at the top portion of the vehicle body, and the contour of the outer portion of the traction transformer is located inside the vehicle top contour line (1), thereby protecting a traction transformer from damage, such as pollution, blockage, and scratches, reducing failure rate, improving service life, and improving working reliability of a rail transit vehicle. In addition, the height of a bottom surface of a vehicle body from the ground is reduced, avoiding the provision of a high platform, and reducing the impact of platform height, thereby improving the adaptability of a rail transit vehicle.
