Summary: | The invention relates to a process for preparing a thermal- and sound-insulating layered bio-composite product. According to the invention, the process consists in incorporating the biomass of gram-positive endo-sporulating microorganisms with a residual humidity of max 1%, weighing 6% of the final product, between a film of polypropylene compounded with 5% kaolin, weighing 47% of the final product and a film of polypropylene compounded with 50% wheat straws, weighing 47% of the final product, by pressing, at a temperature of 190°C and a pressure of 200 bar, for 5 min, with sudden cooling at the same pressure, the resulting product having a high bio-compatibility. |
