Summary:The invention relates to a process for selective recovery of chromium, iron and zinc from sludges resulting from metal coating. According to the invention, the process comprises sludge oxidation at a pH of 12.0...12.5 with sodium hypochlorite, followed by the stages of filtration, washing, precipitation of trivalent or hexavalent chromium from the chromate solution, after which the precipitates are washed for preparing pigments such as chromium hydroxide and lead chromate; the remaining cake is solubilized with sulphuric acid at a pH value of 1...1.5, is treated with oxygenated water and sodium hydroxide to a pH of 3.0...3.5, for precipitation of trivalent iron and recovery of iron hydroxide pigment, the filtered solution resulting from iron recovery is treated with 20% sodium hydroxide at a pH of 9...9.5 for zinc precipitation as zinc hydroxide. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de recuperare selectivă a cromului, fierului şi zincului din nămoluri provenite din activitatea de acoperiri metalice. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă în oxidarea nămolului laH 12,0...12,5 cu hipoclorit de sodiu, urmată de fazele de filtrare, spălare, precipitare a cromului trivalent sau hexavalent din soluţia de cromat; în continuare, precipitatele sunt spălate pentru obţinerea pigmenţilor de tip hidroxid de crom şi cromat de plumb; turta rămasă se solubilizează cu acid sulfuric laH 1...1,5, se tratează cu apă oxigenată şi hidroxid de sodiu laH 3,0...3,5, pentru precipitarea fierului trivalent şi recuperarea pigmentului de tip hidroxid de fier; soluţia filtrată după recuperarea fierului se tratează cu hidroxid de sodiu 20% laH 9...9,5 pentru precipitarea zincului sub formă de hidroxid de zinc.
