Summary:The invention relates to a process for preparing a fluorescent magnetic composite for applications in the field of non-destructive defectoscopic control. According to the invention, the process consists in dispersing the iron oxide within an aqueous solution of iron oxalate and polyvinylpyrrolidone in deionized water, refluxing at the temperature of 55...58°C while stirring for 1...2 h, adding by dripping an oxalic acid solution for changing the pH value to 2...3, reflux boiling at the temperature of 100°C for 3...6 h in argon atmosphere, to result in an aqueous suspension of magnetite nano particles whereto an aqueous solution of nickel acetate is admixed at a temperature of 50...65°C, the resulting suspension being refluxed for 2...6 h, while stirring, at a rate of 1000...1200 rpm, to finally obtain a fluorescent magnetic nano composite as fluorescent dyestuff - FeO.
