Summary: | The invention relates to a process for the dispersion of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) in water by wrapping with single-stranded DNA, consisting in the ultrasound treatment of carbon nanotubes with DNA solution on ice bath, centrifugation, decantation, filtration of the solution and determination of the concentration, there resulting nanotubes in the form of water-concentrated dispersions, compatible with the biological media, so as to make possible the exact testing of the cytotoxicity, both in vitro and in vivo, the nanotubes preserving their conductive properties.
Prezenta invenţie se referă la un procedeu de dispersare a nanotuburilor de carbon cu un singur perete (SWCNT) în apă, prin înfăşurare cu ADN monocatenar, constând din ultrasonarea nanotuburilor de carbon cu soluţia de ADN pe baie de gheaţă, centrifugarea, decantarea, filtrarea soluţiei şi determinarea concentraţiei, rezultând nanotuburi care îşi păstrează proprietăţile conductoare, sub formă de dispersii concentrate în apă, compatibile cu mediile biologice astfel încât să facă posibilă testarea mai exactă a citotoxicităţii atât in vitro, cât şi in vivo. |
