Summary:The invention relates to a process for preparing zinc orthophosphate tetrahydrate from the zinc ashes resulting as residue in copper metallurgy, by treating the same with concentrated sulphuric acid. The Cu2+ ions are removed from the resulting solution by the treatment with zinc powder. The zinc phosphate is precipitated from the filtered solution by admixing a solution of trisodic phosphate, in a concentration of 14%. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a ortofosfatului de zinc tetrahidrat, din cenu?a de zinc rezultată ca de?eu, în metalurgia cuprului, prin tratarea acestuia cu acid sulfuric concentrat. Eliminarea ionilor de Cu2+ din soluţia rezultată se realizează prin tratare cu pulbere de zinc. Din soluţia filtrată se precipită fosfatul de zinc, prin adăugarea unei soluţii de fosfattrisodic, de concentraţie 14%.
