The invention relates to a lubricating composition for motor vehicle gear boxes. According to the invention, the lubricating composition comprises 89...98.3% refined mineral oils, 1.5...5.5% multipurpose additive pack with wearproof, extreme pressure, oxidation preventing, corrosion preventing, rustproof and dispersing functions containing 16.5...28% sulphur, 1.0...2.2% phosphorus, up to 0.8% nitrogen, up to 5% viscosity index enhancer of the polymethacrylate, ethylene-propylene-butadiene-styrene copolymer type, 0.2...0.5% depressant, and, possibly, 50...200 ppm antifoaming agent of the siloxane polymer type, the percentage being expressed by weight. Invenţia se referă la o compoziţie lubrifiantă, pentru transmisiile autovehiculelor. Compoziţia lubrifiantă, conform invenţiei, este constituită, în greutate, din 89...98,3% uleiuri mineralerafinate, 1,5...5,5% pachet multifuncţional de aditivi cu funcţiuni antiuzură, extremă presiune, antioxidantă, anticorosivă, antirugină, dispersantă cu un conţinut de 16,5...28% sulf, 1,0...2,2% fosfor, până la 0,8% azot, până la 5% ameliorator al indicelui de viscozitate de tip polimetacrilat, copolimer etilen-propilenic butadien-stirenic, 0,2...0,5% aditiv depresant, eventual 50...200 ppm antispumant de tip polimer siloxanic.
