Summary:The invention relates to a method for treating soils polluted with heavy metals by mixing the same with volcanic tuff. The soils are treated in situ, by mixing the same with volcanic tuff of the clinoptylolite type having a particle size lower than 0.4 mm. The amount of volcanic tuff to be used is selected depending on the concentration of heavy metals and pH value of the soil. Invenţia se referă la o metodă de tratare a solurilor poluate cu metale grele, prin amestecare cu tuf vulcanic. Tratarea solurilor se realizează in situ, prin amestecarea cu tuf vulcanic, de tip clinoptilolit, cu o dimensiune a particulelor mai mică de 0,4 mm. Cantitatea de tuf vulcanic utilizată este aleasă în funcţie de concentraţia metalelor grele ?i pH-ul solului.
