Summary: | The invention relates to a process for the purification of siliceous sand by flotation with sulphate-alkylcarboxylic reagents, in order to remove the iron oxides and to obtain siliceous sand to be employed in glass and ceramic industry. According to the invention, the process consists of the wet classification of the raw sand after which the resulting hydromass having a grain size of 0.500 mm, is subjected to the conditioning with a view to adjusting the pulp pH and the dilution, the collecting and depressant reagents are proportioned and then the pulp so conditioned is subjected to flotation in two steps, for a flotation time of 3...5 min/step, for the removal of iron oxides from the flotation concentrate and the preparation of siliceous sand as flotation tailings after cleaning, containing 95.6% SiO2 and 0.08% Fe2O3.
Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de înnobilare a nisipului cuarţos, prin flotaţie cu reactivi sulfato-alchilcarboxilici, pentru eliminarea oxizilor de fier şi obţinerea nisipului cuarţos, utilizabil în sticlărie şi ceramică. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă în clasarea umedă a nisipului brut, după care hidromasa obţinută, având granulaţia de 0,500 mm, este supusă condiţionării, pentru reglarea pH-ului tulburelii şi diluţiei, după care are loc dozarea reactivilor colectori şi depresanţi, apoi tulbureala, astfel condiţionată, este flotată în două trepte, într-un timp de flotaţie de 3...5 min/treaptă, pentru eliminarea oxizilor de fier, în concentratul de flotaţie, şi obţinerea nisipului cuarţos, ca steril de flotaţie după curăţire, ce conţine 95,6% SiO2 şi 0,08% Fe2O3. ŕ |
