Invenţia se referă la o membrană K-selectivă, cu matrice de policlorură de vinil, constituită din 24...27% policlorură de vinil, 0,4...0,6% decil-18-cw-6, ca ionofor, 0,2...0,3% tetrakis-p-clorfenilborat de potasiu, ca aditiv lipofil, şi 72,1...75,4% tricrezilfosfat ca plastifiant. Se asigură interval de răspuns liniar, sensibilitate faţă de ionii de potasiu, în prezenţa ionilor de sodiu, şi nu prezintă memorie.
