Summary:Process for forming spun-bonded fabric from molten polymer which comprises the spinning of a composition consisting of a molten thermoplastic polymer, the macromolecular chains of the resulting filaments being stretched and oriented under the action of some rolls located downstream the quenching area and jet quenched, and further entrained and drawn between said rolls, in an effectively closed area, where a continuous uniform gas flow is created at higher speed than the speed of the filaments which move without sliding, in a tidy manner while changing the direction at angles of 90 ... 270 degree , the drawing taking place as a result of the combined action exerted by said rolls and the pulling force exerted by a pneumatic forwarding jet, located at the exit end of the rolls area, the drawn filaments being collected on a support at random, where they form a fibrous layer which is fixed by self-bonding or heat welding. The installation for applying the process comprises a spinning block (1), a quenching chamber (2), at least two rolls (6,7) entrained, spaced, covered over the distance where the filaments come into contact with said rolls, by a shroud (5) having some polymeric edges (8, 9, 10) lying in the proximity of the rolls and forming a continuous channel, said shroud having an entrance end (7) and an exit end, a pneumatic forwarding jet (14) being located in the area of the exit end, a support (16) for the collection of the filaments forming a fibrous layer and means for bonding the fibrous layer. An enhanced fineness uniformity is ensured. Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a unui netesut consolidat la filare chimica, din topitura, constand in filarea unei compozitii constituita din polimer termoplastic topit, iar filamentele formate, supuse unei intinderi si orientari a lanturilor macromoleculare, sub actiunea unor role amplasate in aval de zona de racire, racite prin suflarea unui curent de gaz, sunt antrenate si etirate printre rolele mentionate, dispuse intr-o zona efectiv inchisa, in care se creeaza un flux continuu si uniform de gaz, avand o viteza mai mare decat viteza de inaintare a filamentelor care se deplaseaza fara alunecare, ordonat si cu schimbare de directie, sub unghiuri de 90...270 grade, etirarea realizandu-se prin actiunea combinata exercitata de aceste role si forta de tragere exercitata de jetul de avans pneumatic, amplasat la capatul de iesire din zona rolelor, filamentele etirate fiind depuse, in mod aleatoriu, pe un suport, cu formarea unui strat fibros si fixarea acestuiaprin autoliere sau prin termosudare. Instalatia pentru realizarea procedeului este formata dintr-un bloc de filare (1), o camera de racire (2), cel putin doua role de intindere (6, 7), antrenate, distantate, acoperite, pe distanta in care filamentele vin in contact cu rolele, de un invelis (5) care include niste muchii polimerice (8, 9, 10), amplasate in imediata apropiere a rolelor, dispus astfel incat sa formeze un canal continuu, invelisul mentionat avand un capat de intrare (7) si un capat de iesire, in zona capatului de iesire (11), fiind amplasat un jet pneumatic (14), de avans, unsuport (16), pe care sunt depuse filamentele cu formarea unui strat fibros si mijloace pentru fixarera stratului fibros. Se asigura uniformitatea imbunatatita a finetii.
