PORTABLE INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING THE ANGULAR PLAY TO THE STEERING WHEEL OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a portable instrument for measuring the angular play of the steering wheel of a motor vehicle, which can be used for any type, model or size of steering wheels. According to the invention, the instrument comprises an intermediate body (1) provided with a ball-shaped handle (2) and with a secant channel (a) wherein a sectorial support (4) is fastened, said sectorial support carrying a circular scale (5). It is also provided with a profiled disk (10) mounted on the intermediate body (1) and it has a raceway (c) inside, the intermediate body (1) having another raceway (d) where several bearing balls (13) are placed, said bearing balls being mounted in a separating cage (14). The profiled disk (10) carries a sleeve (15) and a vernier support (8) on which a circular vernier (6) is mounted by means of some rivets (7), said circular vernier being rotatable in both directions on the circular scale (5) by means of a milled circular slot (b) made in the sectorial support (4). A screw (16) passed through a bore (f) of the intermediate body (1) allows the rotation of the profiled disk (10) about said body due to a circular channel (e) thereof, the intermediate body (1) and the profiled disk (10) being blocked by means of a lever (20) fastened with a screw (19) and a nut (18). Invenţia se referă la un instrument portabil de măsurat jocul unghiular la volanul automobilelor, utilizabil la orice tip, model sau mărime de volan. Instrumentul conform invenţiei este alcătuit dintr-un corp intermediar (1), prevăzut cu un mâner sferic (2) şi cu un canal secant (a) în care se fixează un suport sectorial (4), purtător al unei scări circulare (5). El mai este prevăzut cu un disc profilat (10), montat pe corpul intermediar (1) şi are la interior o cale de rulare (c), iar corpul intermediar (1), o cale de rulare (d) în care se poziţionează nişte bile de rulment (13), montate într-o colivie separatoare (14). Discul profilat (10) este purtătorul unei manşete (15), precum şi al unui suport vernier (8) de care, prin intermediul unor nituri (7), se fixează un vernier circular (6) care, printr-o frezare circulară (b), practicată în suportul sectorial (4), se poate roti în ambele sensuri în faţa scării circulare (5). Un şurub (16), introdus într-un alezaj (f) al corpului inte rmediar (1), permite rotirea discului profilat (10) faţă de acesta, datorită unui canal circular (e), practicat în el, blocarea dintre corpul intermediar (1) şi discul profilat (10) realizându-se cu ajutorul unei manete (20) strânsă cu un şurub (19) pe o piuliţă (18).
