Summary:A wide channel drainage system is constructed from one-piece plastics liner channel sections (2). Each section (2) defines a pipe portion (6) and hollow projections (22) that support a channel (24) having a slot (26) opening into the surface to be drained. The size and spacing of the projections (22) are such as to allow loose reinforcement bars to be seated in arched openings (42) defined between the projections (22). The channel (24) may be notched to allow a reinforcing mesh to be slid through the slot channel (24) into the openings (42).
