Summary:Provided is a cleaner head (100) for a wet cleaning apparatus. The cleaner head has at least one cleaning liquid outlet (104) through which cleaning liquid is deliverable. A cleaning liquid applicator material (126, 128) is, for example, adjacent the at least one cleaning liquid outlet. The cleaning liquid applicator material is arranged to apply the cleaning liquid to a surface to be cleaned. The cleaner head also has at least one dirt inlet (142A), and a porous material covering the at least one dirt inlet. The porous material comprises a porous material layer (114) sealingly attached to the at least one dirt inlet. In one aspect, the cleaning liquid applicator material is deformable to bring at least part of the cleaning liquid applicator material into contact with the porous material. In another aspect, an edge portion (134) of the porous material abuts an opposing edge portion (136) of the cleaning liquid applicator material. These aspects provide alternative solutions to the same problem of controlling the wetness of the cleaning liquid applicator material. Further provided is a wet cleaning apparatus comprising the cleaner head.
