Summary:Cooling plate (1) has coolant channels (5) running within the plate. Coolant tubular pieces for the coolant feed and run-off are directed outward through a protective steel sheet (2). The plate is provided with holding tubes (7) directed through the steel sheet. The holding tubes have fixing elements (10), especially holding plates or holding disks. The holding tubes and the fixing elements are made from a material which has a higher strength than copper and/or low alloyed copper alloy. Preferred Features: The plate is connected to the steel sheet by a fixed point element (12). The plate has bars (3) and grooves on the side facing the inside of the furnace. The bars are segmented in their longitudinal direction.
