Summary:PCT No. PCT/EP96/03122 Sec. 371 Date Feb. 3, 1998 Sec. 102(e) Date Feb. 3, 1998 PCT Filed Jul. 16, 1996 PCT Pub. No. WO97/04071 PCT Pub. Date Feb. 6, 1997The invention concerns a liquid agent in suspension for use in washing-up machines. The aim of the invention is to ensure the consistency of a paste without the need to use thickeners or extenders. This is achieved by using 30 to 60% by weight of water, 15 to 70% by weight of an alkali-metal tripolyphosphate selected from sodium tripolyphosphate, used either in the anhydrous or the partly hydrated form, and potassium tripolyphosphate in the presence of 5 to 30% by weight of an alkali carrier such as an alkali-metal hydroxide, carbonate, or metasilicate, if necessary in the presence of active-chlorine carriers, complex carriers and the other usual auxiliaries.
