Summary: | Catalyst for crosslinking silicone rubber masses with a crosslinking agent based on a silane compound having lactate groups, comprises at least two different compounds comprising metal salts of carboxylic acids. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a composition comprising the above catalyst, at least one organosilicon compound and at least one crosslinking agent based on a silane compound having lactate groups, preferably a silane compound having ethyl lactate groups; and (2) preparing the composition, comprising (i) mixing and reacting the organosilicon compound and the crosslinking agent with the addition of a first catalyst which comprises an acidic compound, preferably 2-ethylhexyl phosphate, before mixing the composition with the catalyst. |
