Summary:The present invention relates to a washing composition containing a) 5 to 15% by weight of anionic surfactant and b) 0.01 to 1% by weight of a hydrophobically modified cationic polymer. A washing composition is obtained which cleans sensitive wool and/or silk textiles in particular, imparts softness thereto, improves the elasticity thereof and reduces the tendency of the textiles to shrink in the course of washing.
