Summary:The heat accumulator (1) has a container (2) for the temperature-stratified receiving of a heat carriers (W1) and a heat exchanger unit (4) provided outside the container. The heat exchanger unit heats the heat carrier by another heat carrier (W2). The heat exchanger unit provides two separate exchanger segments (4a,4b). Each exchanger segment is connected with the container by a charging circuit for forming a charging circuit and replacing the former heat carrier by connecting lines (6).
