Summary: | A method of producing a herbicidal agent, in a form of a concentrated emulsion or emulsifying solution, containing N-methylo-N-methoxy(4-chloro-methylophenoxy)amide as a biologically active agent, produced by means of a reaction of N,O-dimethylhydroxylamine hydrochloride and (4-chloro-2-methylo-phenoxy) acetic acid chloride in the presence of water and potassium carbonate, characterised in that the process is carried out while using 3,5,5-trimethylo-2-cyclohexen-1-on, commonly known as isophorone, as a solvent in the synthesis. Emulsifiers and stabilisers are then added to the reaction mix and the active substance does not need to be separated. |
