Summary:1. A method of producing sorbing agent, characterised in that the substrate, in the form of cellular concrete with the grain size of up to 4 mm, is wetted with a water solution of a binding-sorbing agent at the concentration of 0.1-0.35 percent or with a suspension of bentonite in water, with an addition of 0.05-03 percent by mass of a binding-sorbing agent. Then, the wetted substrate is coated with bentonite with the grain size of 3.5 mm to form granules. When partly dried at the temperature of 95 degrees Celsius, the granules are sprinkled with a water solution of a binding-sorbing agent at the concentration of 0.1-0.35 percent and dried at the temperature of up to 95 degrees Celsius to obtain the sorbing agent, which contains the following components by mass: 35 - 70 percent of cellular concrete, 30 - 70 percent of bentonite and 0.05 -1.0 percent of a binding-sorbing agent.
