Summary:The subcaliber shell is equipped with a penetrator, containing a core which is enclosed with an external ballistic cap in the head part, with an external shell in the middle part, and with sabot in the rear part. It is characterised in that the sabot (3) has longitudinal slits (10) spaced evenly on its circumference. The external surface of the sabot (3) has indentations (11) between the longitudinal slits (10). The recess (12) in the bottom of the sabot (3) has a conical shape.
